About the Journal
Enfoque UTE (ISSN Online: 1390-6542 | ISSN Print: 1390-9363) is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Engineering Sciences and Industries at UTE University, Quito, Ecuador. It publishes research articles and reviews on environmental, food, agricultural, mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering, computer science, and industrial and manufacturing engineering.
Enfoque UTE is a Diamond Open Access journal and guarantees that its content and services in general will be completely free for readers (no subscription fees), authors (no APCs), and the general public.
Enfoque UTE is registered and indexed in several of the main international databases such as Web of Science (ESCI), Redalyc, Scielo, REDIB, Latindex, among others.. (About the Journal)

Enfoque UTE is an open-access scientific journal. It publishes original articles in the fields of environmental, food, agricultural, mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering, computer science, and industrial and manufacturing engineering. The journal accepts manuscripts written only in English.
This issue of Enfoque UTE brings together four research papers and two review articles that highlight the breadth and impact of engineering and applied sciences. The contributions include studies on protein extraction and characterization, information security management in industrial environments, and a comparative analysis of wireless power and data transmission methods. Further works explore innovative applications of artificial intelligence in agro-industry, consumer perception of dairy products, and structural analysis applied to racing vehicles. Together, these papers illustrate the interdisciplinary scope of the journal and its commitment to advancing scientific and technological knowledge.

- Enfoque UTE publishes quarterly, at the beginning of: January, April, July and October.
- The journal mainly covers the engineering fields of Environmental Engineering, Food Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, and Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering.
- To extend our coverage to a wider scientific audience, Enfoque UTE considers for publication papers written in english only (with abstract and keywords in English and Spanish).
- Enfoque UTE publishes a limited number of articles per year, therefore, to serve all the community, it will publish only one article per author, per volume or year (exceptionally two).
