En este documento se define y analiza el método QSOS, concebido para calificar, seleccionar ycomparar el software de código libre y abierto de forma objetiva, trazable y argumentada, ampliando eltrabajo realizado por Atos Origin. Se estudia también las posibilidades de extrapolar sus funcionalidadespara analizar y seleccionar software para la aplicación en procesos educativos. El método QSOSestá disponible bajo los términos de la GNU Free Documentation License.
